In over 100 years of practice, JB&B has completed design projects in more than 50 countries and on 6 continents, serving as consulting engineers on some of the most iconic buildings of the 20th century as well as some of the most emblematic of the 21st.

In response to the growth and innovation needs within the industry, JB&B continues to expand its service line to include specialty services such as commissioning, audiovisual, distributed antenna systems, special inspections and MEP advisory services, as well as professional lighting design through its newly formed division, LightBox Studios. The Philadelphia Chapter of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat together with the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania assembled a panel of thought leaders for a symposium to address food security, public common space, and how architecture can provide a self sustaining physical, cultural, and economic model for cities. Moderated by Janine La Marca, panelists include Dickson Despommier, Alex Turkewitsch, Walter Mehl, Scott Erdy, Nyasha Felder, and Mitch Tuinstra.
